Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information Techwhizz Network Solutions Limited (“TNS”, “we”, “us”) collects through techwhizz.solutions, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We handle personal data in line with the Data Protection Act, 2020 of Jamaica.

Who we are

Techwhizz Network Solutions Limited is a managed IT services company based in Rose Hall, Montego Bay, Jamaica. For anything in this policy, contact us at [email protected] or (876) 799-7214.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to answer you, quote, deliver what you ordered, and keep the site secure.

  • Contact and trial requests. When you use our contact form we receive your name, email address, company, your message, and your phone number if you choose to give it. The form sends this to our business inbox and keeps a copy in the website database so enquiries are not lost.
  • Quote requests. Some quote forms run on Microsoft Forms. Answers go to our Microsoft 365 account.
  • Shop orders. When you place an order we collect your name, billing details, email address, phone number and what you ordered. Shop payments are handled by PayPal. If you pay by card, you enter your card details with PayPal, and we never see or store your card number.
  • WhatsApp chat. If you click the chat button, the conversation takes place in WhatsApp and is also covered by WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy.
  • Security logs. Our security tools record IP addresses, browser details, pages requested and failed login attempts to block attacks and abuse.
  • Spam protection. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA, which checks your browser and how you interact with the page to tell people from bots. Google’s privacy policy and terms apply to it.
  • Cookies. See the cookies section below.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses a small number of cookies. Some are needed for it to work, such as keeping items in your cart, keeping you signed in to your account, and security checks. We also use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to show us how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and roughly where visits come from. A notice tells you this on your first visit. If you would rather not be counted, choose Cookie settings in the footer and then Turn off analytics. You can also block these cookies in your browser.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop the cart or checkout from working.

How we use your information

  • To reply to your enquiry, set up a trial, or prepare a quote
  • To process shop orders, deliver licence keys, and invoice services we provide
  • To provide support and services you have engaged us for
  • To keep the website and our systems secure
  • To keep the business and tax records the law requires
  • To understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it

We rely on your consent, on the need to perform a contract with you or take steps you ask for before one, on our legal obligations, and on our legitimate interest in running and protecting the business. We do not sell your personal information. We will only send you marketing emails if you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only where we need to:

  • Service providers that run parts of our business for us, such as website hosting, business email, form tools and bookkeeping. They may only use it to provide their service to us.
  • Distributors and software publishers, where needed to fulfil a licence order.
  • PayPal, to process shop payments, and our bank, to match bank transfers to service invoices.
  • Professional advisers such as our accountant or attorney.
  • Authorities, where the law requires us to.

Some of these providers store data outside Jamaica, including in the United States. We use established providers that protect data to a standard comparable to Jamaican law.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to two years after our last contact
  • Client, order and invoice records: as long as tax and accounting law requires
  • Security logs: for a limited period, then deleted automatically

How we protect it

We protect information with access controls, encryption in transit, security monitoring and regular updates. No system is perfectly secure, so if we ever have a breach that puts your information at risk we will tell you and the regulator as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy
  • Correct information that is wrong or out of date
  • Stop using your information for direct marketing
  • Stop processing that is causing you damage or distress
  • Withdraw consent you gave earlier

Email [email protected] and we will respond within the time the law allows. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Information Commissioner in Jamaica.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
